At HeartBridge, we recognize the challenges facing education today: teacher burnout, overextended administrators, and limited resources. Just to name a few.

HeartBridge offers a solution, providing tiered supports, intentional designs, and simple integrations within its curriculum to ease these burdens.

Tiered Supports

HeartBridge's Tiered Systems of Support provide a comprehensive, multi-tiered framework designed to enhance emotional and mental well-being in schools. This framework, aligned with MTSS, offers different levels of intervention based on student needs.

Our curriculum is centered around the following TIERS:

Tier 1 implements universal strategies for all students, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. Tiers 2 and 3 deliver targeted and intensive support for students requiring additional assistance, with interventions customized to individual needs.

At HeartBridge, we believe that effective student support doesn't always necessitate a specialist. Our Tier 2 materials are designed for any campus representative to facilitate small group interventions. These resources, including journal prompts, circle time prompts, and group activities, empower school staff to easily engage and support students who need additional guidance. By enabling a broader range of school personnel to lead these sessions, we ensure that targeted support is accessible and practical, helping more students flourish within their school community.

These interventions encompass group discussion guides, activities, and progress tracking, ensuring that every student receives the necessary support to thrive both academically and emotionally.

What’s in each tier?

Intentional Designs

At HeartBridge, we believe in Intentional Design—crafting a system that truly serves everyone. Our materials are meticulously developed to be all-inclusive, ensuring you're never asked for additional purchases. Every referenced book is easily accessible on YouTube, and all lessons, worksheets, and supporting resources are designed for simple implementation with just basic copies for students.

Beyond accessibility, we've built a unique Learning Pathway based on extensive educational research about holistic student development. We call it the D.U.K. Model, standing for Discover (K-5), Understand (6-8), and Know (9-12). This thoughtful progression allows students to learn complex concepts in sync with their natural brain development.

Discover (D)

This phase is all about Introducing core ideas through gentle repetition and consistent routines, focusing on exposure and awareness.

Understand (U)

This phase is designed to encourage students to question ideas, form their own opinions, and develop empathy and insight.

Know (K)

This phase aims to facilitate the application of learned ideas and understandings, allowing students to contextualize their knowledge within the world around them.

Simple Integrations

From the very beginning, HeartBridge was designed for simple integration. We understand schools are often stretched thin, yet we firmly believe the content within this curriculum is pivotal to boosting learning across all areas. That's why we've built HeartBridge so any staff member on campus can confidently teach it.

We provide comprehensive support, including professional development for each major concept, easy-to-follow lessons, and easily adaptable activities, among many other resources.
